Support for young doctors in radiology, surgery and oncology

The Bauer Foundation supports committed young doctors who want to further develop their clinical and scientific skills. Our funding programmes combine excellent training with international cooperation – particularly between Germany, Romania and Hungary. The aim is to support young doctors on their path to clinical competence and scientific excellence. With scholarships, work shadowing opportunities, programmes abroad and personal mentoring, we create opportunities that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

Purpose of the Foundation

The Bauer Foundation exclusively pursues charitable purposes in accordance with §§ 51 ff. of the German Fiscal Code.

  • Science and research in radiology, oncology, and surgery
  • Public health care and medical education
  • International academic collaboration, particularly between Germany, Romania, and Hungary
